Enough and proper amount of water is important during the sports, because lack of water will bring about the exhaustion of your body organization, but too much water will add the burden to your kidney and cause a lot of other health troubles.
The best time to eat food is one hour after you finished the exercise. Eat something natural and avoid of greasy and chilly food. If you have a sense of fullness, you can have some liquid food which is more easily to be digested and at the same time can provide more water to your body. If you do not have a formal meal after two hours since you finished the exercise, you can have some solid food to obtain more sugar and protein, such as eggs and meat.
Keep in mind that, do not drink any tea or coffee when you try to do a heavy exercise, because the caffeine will stimulate the function of your kidney and add the frequency of urination, which will cause the shortage of body water.
