The Lure of Handbags

Today is the first day of May Day. I have promised to my little son to go on a picnic beside a river in the suburbs. In the morning, I get up early in order to make good preparations for the picnic. At about 9:00 o'clock, we leave for the river. And after about 45-minute drive, we arrive at our destination. As soon as we get off the car, we are completely intoxicated in the beautiful scene: fresh air, clean water, green grass, colorful flowers, blue sky and white cloudy as well as the warm breeze.
At the sight of the river, my son runs quickly to see the fish swimming in the water. He likes fishing very much, though he has never fished one. This time, I also prepare the fishing rod and fishmeal for him and his father. And I can free myself from the fishing. When they begin their fishing, I come back to the grassland, I like to lie down and stretch my whole body, comfortable and relaxed, which can make me totally forget all the unhappy things in the downtown area and get the peace in mind. It is really an enjoyment.
Just as I continue to appreciate the beautiful scene, a woman with a handbag greatly interests me. In fact, what really interests is the handbag in her hand, because it is the right one I expect to buy for a long time. I try to control my excitement to see the bag, but in the end, I fail and I cannot help running to the woman, asking where she bought the handbag. Surprisingly, I am told that the bag is listed in the fashion bags on sale. What a surprise! At this time, compared with the handbag, the beautiful scene has lost its charm for me. I walk front and back on the grassland, I want to buy the handbag as soon as possible, but I really don't know how to tell my son, indeed, I don't want to make him disappointed, and ask him come back earlier with me. At this time, my husband sees my anxiety, and I tell him what I am thinking. He smiles and helps me out. He tells my son that I will go back home to prepare nice dinner for them and he will accompany him till he wants to leave. And I also tell them that I will buy what they want, which makes them feel very happy and look forward to the dinner I will prepare.
I go to the shopping mall the woman told me by taxi. When I enter, I am so surprised to see so many fashion bags on sale, which is not commonly seen. I look around and look for the handbag I want. However, when I find the store, there is only one left, and I have no choice. To some extent, I am disappointed, but it is not bad for me to get the handbag I look forward to buying.
