First, have a guy confidant. He will be honest with you about the guy you are dating, he will offer priceless suggestions about the color of the Ugg boots which suits you best, he will take your side when your heart is broken, he will comfort you when anything stands in your way. He is not your family but he can offer you everything a family member can.

Second, make friends with your best friend's boyfriend. You value your friendship with her a lot but inevitably there will be misunderstanding and when misunderstanding happens, this boyfriend of your friend's, also a friend of yours, will play a vital role in cooling both of you down. He will be the glue to piece you guys together.

Third, have a friend who is a layer, doctor or anyone specialize in one particular field. Take my friend Harriett as an example, one of her good friends is a layer and when she was going through the divorce procedure she did have received a lot of free help from this friend of hers. Having a friend of this kind can indeed save you plenty of trouble.

Fourth, have several friends who are older than you. They know life better than you do, they are experienced, you can learn from them. Actually the people around you are the best teachers; they pass on their life experiences to you in a more acceptable way.

And the last ones are your ex boyfriend. Be sure that you are still friends after the break up; it is hard to transform a relationship into a friendship when the former fails to work out, but if you can manage to do that it can turn out to be more profitable than you think. They will back you up when you are down, they are the ones you can count on when you need a shoulder.

Friends are what almost everyone can't live without. Friends are the beacon when you are at loss, and friends, no matter they are male or female, are the stimulant to push you move on.

Honestly speaking, it was the best of times and the worst of times. The moment Tom took out the Tiffany ring to her sight. Aamina was quite overjoyed expecting the most romantic wedding ever, at the same time that she fell into a long time silence because she was losing her battle with the breast cancer.

She used to be fiercely independent and courageous, but none of her treatments had made a success. Still, she had never lost the ability to smile. But now, five years had passed and she had become totally disabled and lacked energy.

Tom had spent five years keeping company with her. Whenever she felt depressed and grieved, he would probably smile to her. She knew the smile was the most courageous and inspiring gift destined for her. At that moment, she was likely to clutch firmly to him so that her heart was able to get closer to him. The biggest fear was that their lives might never connect with each other anymore.

A few weeks before the Valentine’s Day, Aamina lapsed into a deep coma. The doctors had already lost the hope of saving her life. Tom was told that she would never awake and it was useless to try any efforts. The moment he heard this, his heart began to get stiff without any movement. Tears had flowed down his cheeks gradually just like a stream of river. However, he still held the belief that she would wake up and live her life. Thankfully, Aamina woke up after days of coma.

“Aamina, Aamina, the Valentine’s Day is coming! Are you listening to me?”

“Yes!” she smiled and responded in a low voice.

How wonderful the word was! She had never spoken any clear words in days! She was always smiling. The disease had already intensely tortured her and seized her hand. But luckily, her once energy and zest had come back to life. She had never felt so happy and cheerful ever before.

Days had passed gradually. There came the Valentine’s Day. It was the most bittersweet moment for her because Tom and she hadn’t celebrated the day since she suffered from the disease. The sun was shining high in the sky with bright rays going through the windows. The pleasant smell of flowers was sure to amuse her heart. Apparently, she was filled with much wild excitement and merriment. The door was completely opened. A handful of roses firstly came to her sight. And then Tom appeared in the house. Overwhelmed with great happiness and joy, he step by step approached to her…

Love has the power to overcome all difficulties and sorrows. And love can last forever!

Time will cure all kinds of pain, while, it depends, pain such as a tough break up, lost the most important person in your life, time seems not helping given the circumstances happened. The good news is there are several ways to rebuild your confidence and regain your ability to love, open yourself up and trust love.

Don't resent. Love and to be loved are the basic human rights, everyone has the freedom to choose whom he or she wants to be with. If the one you have a crush on senses that you are not the one, don't hate him or resent him, he has the right to pursue happiness, so do you. Then let him go, the one who is right for you is waiting somewhere else. Get yourself a GHD and change a hair style; it can help you to get out of the shadow of a failure relationship.

Don't feel guilty. Forgive yourself though no one's fault it is. A lot of people will blame them for being unable to make the relationship work out, or saying things like what an idiot I was to marry him, what did I see in that awful person. Well, stop doing that. You know love is a delicate subject, it is complicated. It is a sophisticated process to both choose whom to love and maintain the relationship fresh. It is inevitable that some relationships will not work out. You don't need to blame yourself or anyone at all; all you need to do is be ready and open your arms to embrace the romance in the corner.

Don't compare your present boyfriend or girlfriend with your ex. It is true that people tend to compare the one they are being with to the one they were once being with, this will very much ruin a relationship. Things will certainly get out of control if you compare the shortcomings of your lover with the advantages of your ex; surely this is what most people are doing. The thing is if you have started afresh then you have to kiss the old days goodbye and focus fully on what you have or else it is likely that you will lose both. Cherish the one you are being with, encourage him or her, trust him or her and take the first step a relationship needs in order to make both of you happy and satisfactory.
